In my experience as an Advanced Riding Instructor these tyres are fantastic whether making 'serious' progress, touring or popping into town. I have used PR3s and PR4s for many years due to their grip levels in all conditions and their high mileage.

These tyres have much more grip than I have skill, they grip in the wet like my old pilot road 3's did in the dry.

    Comment:
When I first got these tyres I was absolutely amazed at how brilliant they were but unfortunately after 3 months the front tyre felt as if it had already worn out - the feedback from the steering is awful while going over white lines/uneven road surfaces etc (tyre pressures were regularly checked).
